An author wine bar in Recoleta
Verdot Wine Bar sits on the ground floor of Hotel Mio, at Av. Pte. Manuel Quintana 465, right on one of the most walked corridors of Recoleta. The concept brings together 300+ Argentine labels in a climate-controlled cellar, a signature kitchen led by chef Pablo Buzzo —a reference for Patagonian cuisine and owner of Restaurante Torino in San Martín de los Andes— and a cocktail menu developed by Renato "Tato" Giovannoni, the bartender behind Florería Atlántico, listed on The World's 50 Best Bars.
The name comes from petit verdot, a grape originally used in Bordeaux to enhance other varieties through its structure. Today it stands on its own, and that same idea organizes the space: every glass, every dish and every corner is designed to complement, never overpower. The 4 × 3 m open cellar travels through wines from Salta, Mendoza, Patagonia, San Juan and La Rioja; our sommelier team guides you without protocol so you can build the night around whatever you want to try.

The Cellar
An impressive 4-meter long by 3-meter high climate-controlled wine cellar containing approximately 300 labels is the bar's centerpiece.
The Salon
Warm lighting and green velvet chairs, alluding to the original nature of the vineyards, set the scene.

We have an exclusive outdoor patio suitable for smokers where you can enjoy the sound of a waterfall and the freshness of nature.
The Bar
The bar was made with polished solid wood planks. Along its length, it has space for ten diners.
The Tasting Table
A large 3-meter central table is located in the middle of the room, where the magic of large groups, tastings and winery events happens.
